The Summer Fellowship Program

The Department of Physics and Astronomy of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, will sponsor a summer research program for outstanding physics majors, preferably those who have completed their junior year in college.

The program will run from May 27, 2024 through August 2, 2024.  Research projects at the University of Tennessee and the Oak Ridge National Laboratory will be available.

Stipend

Participants will receive a $6000 stipend for the 10-week program.  Please check 2024 Details for a more detailed description of the program.

Applicants should submit completed application materials and  a current transcript and have letters of recommendation from three professors mailed emailed to:
