The Summer Fellowship Program

The Department of Physics and Astronomy of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville will sponsor a summer research program for outstanding physics majors, preferably those who have completed their junior year in college.

The program will run from June 3, 2013 through August 9, 2013.  Research projects at the University of Tennessee and the Oak Ridge National Laboratory will be available.  Preference will be given to UTK physics majors.  Check Projects for details

Stipends

Participants will receive a $4000 stipend for the 10 week program.  A travel stipend of up to $400 will be provided.  Please check 2013 Details for a more detailed description of the program.

Applicants should submit completed application materials and  a current transcript and have letters of recommendation from three professors mailed emailed to:
